What to Wear??

What should I wear?  This is a question I ask myself every morning.  Most days, the answer is simple.  If I'm at home, I'll wear jeans and a shirt.  If I have an appointment, I might wear the nicer jeans and the nicer shirt. Haha...

But on October 31st, answering this question is really hard.  Should I dress as Maleficent?  I like this idea as the mask is completely concealing, and I can just throw on any old black evening gown and let my "evil" side out.  Or I could dress as Barbie Fashionista.  I've always wanted to be a blonde with big breasts.  It's also a great excuse to wear a glittery gold dress.  My third choice is my cat costume.  I love cats.

This decision brings up one painful point.  The only costume I can actually fit in and look "good" in would have to be Maleficent.  The completely concealing was the key word above.  I'm still wrestling with my weight.  I still have a long way to go to my goal of losing 30 pounds by my son's wedding in February.

So, if you stop by my house on Halloween, I'll be completely concealed by my magnificent, Maleficent costume, but you'll know it's me.  I gave the secret away right here!

Hmm, now the next question is what to give away?  I certainly can't give away spinning wheels!

Apples?
  Candy?

  1. Halloween is MY holiday. I love it! I'm not real good with costumes and have no black gowns in my closet, but I do have a black sweatshirt and mouse ears which have enabled me to be a cat one year, a dog another year and a mouse yet another year. I found a pointy witch's hat in the cellar...guess I'll be that this year. And celebrate my birthday the next day! (see why I love this holiday?)
